Our FIGARO digital interconnect cables are designed to be used between CD transports or CD player outputs and ADC inputs and are terminated with RCA or BNC connectors.

To protect the active stereo system from hum and noise these cables employ two layers of shielding:

1. Alpha Braided Shielding – for electromagnetic interference protection (EMI).       
2. Conductive Carbon Infuse Nylon Shielding – for high frequency interference protection (RFI)   .

Both layers of shielding are placed outside of a polyurethane foam surrounding the conductors and do not interfere with the integrity of the signal transmission. To provide ground connection with the rest of the system, each cable employs a ground wire connected only to the Alpha Braided Shielding. Before shipping to our customers, the cables are “broken-in” and demagnetized.
