PHONO STAGE INTERCONNECTS

The FIGARO phono stage interconnect cables are designed to be used between the cartridge outputs and the pre-amplifier inputs. To protect active stereo systems from hum and noise, the cables employ two layers of shielding:

1. Alpha Braided Shielding – for   electromagnetic interference protection (EMI).       
2. Conductive Carbon Infused Nylon Shielding - for high Frequency interference protection (RFI).

Both layers of shielding are placed outside of polyurethane foam surrounding the conductors and do not interfere with the integrity of the signal transmission. To provide ground connection with the rest of the stereo system, each cable employs a ground wire connected only to the Alpha Braided Shielding for EMI protection.

Before shipping to our customers the cables are “broken-in” and demagnetized.
