STEP-UP TRANSFORMER EVO-II

Our EVO-II is designed to be used with any low or medium output MC phono cartridges with self (internal) impedance ranging from 1 to 100 ohms. A transformer is placed inside of a copper lined enclosure for extra protection from hum and noise. The enclosure and transformer are protected from vibration inside and outside. The inside of enclosure transformer is “floating” in layers of low density polyurethane foam and outside has two strategically placed O-rings.

The EVO-II does not require additional phono stage interconnect cables to be used between the output of the cartridge and the input of the transformer. Because of its small size and weight, the EVO-II may be placed in the shortest proximity to the cartridge output connectors – only 5 inches away!

The EVO-II is shipped to our customers with a complete resistor “loaded” secondary winding of the transformer using only the best possible reference grade Vishay resistors. Our EVO–II TRANFORMERS are fully “broken-in”, demagnetized prior to shipping and do not require additional adjustments.

One set of EVO-II consists of two independent colour coded enclosures - red for right channel and black for left.
